Suwanda Industries proudly holds title of being the ONLY Carbon Neutral Incense Sticks manufacturer in Sri Lanka. Our fragrances meet international safety guidelines which we strictly adhere to. As a subsidiary of the NRR group, we ONLY use fragrances supplied by Cycle Pure Agarbathies in Mysore India, thus purity is assured. A simple man with lofty ideals, a visionary in the truest sense of the word, Shri N Ranga Rao, very early in his life, aimed to become a leading incense stick manufacturing company in Karnataka. With a passion in his soul and determination in his work, this prolific businessman gave wings to his dream with the launch of Mysore Products and General Trading Company in 1948. His vision was structured around the conviction "Quality backed by services will pay".
Within months of its inception, the business began to grow, and it was time for Cycle brand to be born. Committed to quality, Cycle Pure Agarbathies had a series of firsts in the incense manufacturing history. It was the first company to obtain design copy rights to make an interesting range of incense sticks, cones, and Sambrani. In order to create exquisite fragrances in the perfumery industry, the company set up its own in-house fragrance creation workshop. Every product that was developed in this humble place reflected a sense of purity and goodness that is the underlying essence of any pooja ritual.
